BANGKOK (Reuters) -Thailand’s cabinet on Tuesday approved a 3.788 trillion baht ($116.7 billion) budget plan for the 2027 fiscal year, government spokesperson Siripong Angkasakulkiata said.
The budget plan unveiled last week will see a budget deficit of 788 billion baht, or 3.9% of gross domestic product.
The plan projects a 0.2% rise in spending and a 8.37% drop in the deficit for the 2027 fiscal year starting on October 1, 2026.
