BEIJING (Reuters) -China’s commerce ministry said on Friday it hoped the Netherlands would bring “constructive plans” to negotiations over the Nexperia dispute instead of “merely going through the motions” and repeating old lines.
The ministry said the Dutch government had disregarded the security of the global semiconductor supply chain, adding that it hoped the Netherlands would aim to solve problems instead of creating new ones, a statement released by the ministry showed.
The ministry also called the Dutch economy minister’s comment that he “would have done the same thing again” in an interview with The Guardian a “distortion of facts” and “confusing right and wrong”.
