(Reuters) -United Spirits, the Indian arm of Diageo, said on Wednesday it is initiating a strategic review of its investment in Royal Challengers Sports Pvt Ltd, owner of the cricket franchise Royal Challengers Bengaluru.
RCB’s teams participate in the men’s Indian Premier League and Women’s Premier League cricket tournaments hosted by the Board of Control for Cricket in India annually, the company said.
The review process is expected to conclude by the end of March next year, United Spirits said.
