(Corrects 1st paragraph to say two dead in Sloviansk attack, not three)
(Reuters) -A Russian bomb strike on a Ukrainian thermal power plant killed two people and injured others on Thursday in the eastern city of Sloviansk, President Volodymyr Zelenskiy said.
Zelenskiy, speaking in his nightly video address, described the attack in Donetsk region near the front line as “strictly terror”. He said energy sites were the prime targets of overnight Russian drone and missile attacks.
Reuters could not independently verify the account.
Prosecutors in Donetsk region said Russian attacks on private dwellings in the city of Kramatorsk killed one person and injured three.
Sloviansk and Kramatorsk are certain to be key Russian targets in the slow advance westward of Russian troops through Donetsk region.
