BERLIN (Reuters) -German auto parts supplier Bosch cannot rule out disruptions to production if there is no improvement in the stand-off over Dutch chipmaker Nexperia, the company said on Friday.
“We are currently doing everything we can to serve our customers and avoid or minimize production restrictions,” a spokesperson for the company said in an emailed statement to Reuters.
“However, unless there is an easing of export control restrictions, temporary production adjustments in individual plants cannot be ruled out at Bosch,” she said, adding that the company was preparing for possible furlough measures at its Salzgitter plant.
