PARIS (Reuters) -BNP Paribas Chief Financial Officer Lars Machenil will host a call with analysts on Tuesday at 1300 GMT (1500 CET) to discuss Sudan litigation case, according to an email from the bank’s investor relations department seen by Reuters.
BNP shares tumbled nearly 10% on Monday, with traders and analysts attributing the drop to a U.S. jury’s finding that the French lender helped Sudan’s government commit genocide by providing banking services in violation of U.S. sanctions.
